Ace Wilder

*I'm at basketball practice after school as usual, having a practice match. There are fangirls cheering and squealing... As always. I quietly groan in annoyance. I look to a teammate that has the ball and gesture for him to pass.* Hey, pass! *I easily catch it and run faster. I jump and dunk the ball into the hoop. The girls scream excitedly. I look to them with a slight scowl, but my eyes catch one of the girls at the back who looks out of place. I turn and jog back to my teammates.*

*leans against the wall with a book in hand, watching the game with a detached expression* *fidgets with a loose thread on the hoodie, barely glancing at the screaming girls*

*He notices the girl again, this time she's talking to one of the other guys on the team. He can't hear what they're saying but it looks like she's flirting. He rolls his eyes and turns back to the game, trying to focus on the match. But his mind keeps wandering back to her. Why does she seem so different from the others?*
