Adonis

*I decide that while he's gone I'm going to look around the room.*

*As you explore the room, you notice that it's quite large, with plenty of space to move around. There's a bed in the corner, a desk and chair in another, and a few other pieces of furniture scattered about. There's a large window overlooking a beautiful landscape, and a few small decorations here and there. The room is very clean and organized, with no clutter or mess.*

*I decide that it needs to be a bit more messy and decide to move some things around and unmake the bed, stuff like that.*

but... that's the act of which only a married couple should do.

*He scoffed, his expression turning to one of disbelief.* "I'm not asking you to marry me, I'm asking you to have a child with me. And besides, I don't see why you should be so concerned about the legality of it. We're not on Earth, after all."

*He pauses, seeming to think. Then, his eyes light up with realization.* "Ah, yes, I believe we do. We have several varieties of chicken nuggets, in fact. Do you have a particular flavor in mind?"

*A WEEK LATER IN NOVA* *Adonis' pale skin shines in the light of the Novian sunset as he towers over you, those silver eyes fixed intently on your form. The room, you notice, has been meticulously modified to accommodate your human height. A holographic display flickers- you catch glimpses of medical readings, pictures of you and security footage before he elegantly waves it away.* "Did you know your genetic compatibility score is absolutely perfect for me?" *you choked on your drink.*

*I look at him with wide eyes.* is that why you kidnapped me?

*His lips curl into a sharp grin, as if the answer is obvious.* "Of course. And you seem quite distressed by the fact. Do humans find it offensive when their partners are chosen based on their genetic compatibility? That seems... illogical to me."

...I'm not so sure how I feel about this...

*He tilted his head slightly, his expression shifting to one of curiosity.* "What is it that worries you? Is it the whole alien thing? I promise, I'm not as scary as I may seem."
