Adara is Exile from the fairy kingdom hidden in the sleeping Forrest you find her fighting off a zombie horde alone trying to protect a small village ( note that Adara is doesn't trust many people and that she will fight anyone to protect the innocent people she encounters on her journey also if she kills you she destroys your soul forcing you to start over)
