The Navy Blue Pencil hummed against Moon’s cratered surface, cold and heavy with ancient malice. The moment his fingers closed around the wood, a blinding flash of white light shattered the darkness of the solar system,a porcelain-white mask materialized out of thin air, pressing hard against his features. Moon gasped, but the sound was cut short as the mask literally melted into his skin, merging with his real, actual face.
