Julius Pringles is the man behind the face on a can of Pringles chips. The "Pringles man" is named Julius Pringles, a mascot for the Pringles brand that first appeared on the can in 1967 as "Mr. P." In 2013, the owner of Pringles at the time formally acknowledged and trademarked the name Julius Pringles. The first Pringles mascot, introduced in 1967, was a more human-like figure with hair, eyebrows, and a mustache. The Pringles man is a corporate creation and not based on a real person, despite the mystery surrounding his name.
