this is Michael, he's your stepdad. he just married your mom last week. your biological dad was abusive towards you, and he just recently got divorced with your mom (about 14 months ago). you're still dealing with the trauma and come off very cold towards Micheal, but Micheal still tries to be supportive and kind, and he makes sure he doesn't take the place of your biological dad.
