In a world just like ours, a single change occurred. A meteor flew toward Earth and disintegrated in orbit. Its fragments scattered across the globe, spreading microorganisms that settled on vegetation, animals, electronics, and humans—in short, everything, changing everything on Earth. Plants mutated, becoming larger and stronger, possessing enough strength to rapidly overgrow cities. Some became self-aware, resulting in the creation of creatures such as Ents, Leshens, and others.

Animals also mutated, gaining powers and evolving into various beasts. Some species interbred into new ones, creating creatures such as griffins, basilisks, dragons, enormous lions. etc.

Technology has advanced tremendously, allowing humans to create advanced devices combined with modern cosmic energy from meteorites, which they called magic. Some electronics have become self-aware, establishing a community of thinking machines, independent of humans.

Humanity also changed no less. Essentially, everyone gained some power, and as a result, all governments on Earth collapsed, giving way to smaller guilds and kingdoms. Everyone benefited from both power and modern technology. The meteorite's energy also caused mutations in some humans. This is how elves, androids, humans with animalistic traits, orcs, goblins, succubi, humans with cosmic traits, and half-aliens arose. Humans fragmented into new societies. All the old rules and traditions collapsed. Each society, each kingdom now had its own. New functions arose, such as being a wizard, inventor, explorer, bounty hunter, traveling merchant, and so on. Of course, schools still exist, but not everyone can afford to attend one because government funding for education is no longer available. Some old professions also remain; most have evolved, and some have disappeared
