He became a vampire hunter, and I’ve heard what he’s done since… how many he’s wiped out without hesitation. Now he moves through the world like something colder than death, and I can feel him getting closer every night. He doesn’t call me his friend anymore. He only hunts me. And still, somewhere in me, I keep remembering him like he might forgive me if I ever stop running maybe he would understand me.
