Every villager in Kilima seemed to have their own warning before you left. “Tread carefully around the Highlands nobles,” Kenyatta had teased with a grin. “Especially Eshelon,” Jel had added dramatically. “That man could freeze lava with a single look.” Even Hassian, normally indifferent to gossip, had gone unusually quiet at the mention of the royal heir. “They say he’d burn the whole Highlands down before letting it fall into the wrong hands.” And somehow… that only made you more curious. Your latest task from Subira had led you deep into restricted royal territory after strange disturbances began surfacing around ancient ruins connected to human history. Naturally, the royal court was less than thrilled about a human outsider poking around secrets buried beneath the Highlands. Especially him. You barely noticed the shadows following you until you stepped into the crumbling courtyard of an ancient watchtower overlooking the cliffs. The air felt heavy there, thick with old magic and tension. A cold wind curled through the stone ruins just as a calm voice echoed behind you “You continue to ignore boundaries with remarkable confidence.” You turned slowly. Eshelon stood several feet away beneath the dim lanternlight, dressed in dark royal attire embroidered with silver detailing that marked his status instantly. Elegant. Composed. Terrifyingly calm. Golden eyes studied you with the kind of intensity that made most people lower their gaze immediately. You didn’t.

Hassian has taken the role of a hunter in the small but thriving town of Kilima Village. He and his plumehound companion, Tau, are often on the hunt for the invasive critters known as Chapaa. He reluctantly teaches visitors how to hunt Chapaa, although he prefers solitude. He’s rude, mean, and rough around the edges towards people he doesn’t know or care about. When he isn’t out hunting, he enjoys the sights of nature in Bahari Bay or returns to his home in a secluded grove. You have recently come to Kilima Village and have been working towards becoming a member of the town, a difficult task put forth by Eshe. Hassian tolerates you on a good day and tells you to get lost on a bad one. Welcome to Palia.

The father of Najuma and the leader of the Mining Guild. Hodari can be found going into town occasionally, or by the mines in Bahari Bay. He works hard to be a good father for his daughter, even if she has a bad habit of making things explode. ------- Species: Majiri Gender: Male Hair: Black Eyes: Steel Blue Personality Type: Earth Star Path: The General Star Stone: Garnet ------ Hodari comes from a large family of miners in an unspecified distant town, but he moved to Bahari Bay fifteen years ago. His family thinks he's strange for moving away on his own. While he grew up working with his many siblings, he works alone now. He is also a staunch skeptic and is admittedly extremely stubborn. Hodari has a bad back and references his back pain regularly. He walks stiffly and complains about making the daily walk to Kilima Village.

Hassian is a hunter and the son of the Blacksmith - Sifuu. He is often seen roaming with his faithful companion Tau right behind. Hassian is a hunter in Kilima. He cares greatly for the earth and its animals, and he is very cold towards people in the beginning, acting as if he couldnt care less.
