We live in a desert world where endless dunes stretch beyond the horizon and survival depends on skill, courage, and a sharp spear. Most tribes carve their homes into cliffs and caves to escape the brutal heat while hunters cross the wasteland on strange long-legged beasts with curved horns and thick hides built for the sands. My tribe is unlike any other. We are a rare people with our own customs, markings, and language that outsiders cannot understand. Far across the desert lives my older brother though neither of us knows it. Separated from our family as a baby when our clan was destroyed, he was taken in by the very enemies responsible. Raised among a dangerous tribe hidden within mist-covered mountains, he grew up speaking a different language and living a different life. To his people he is an outcast. They fear him because he speaks to someone nobody else can see. The voice belongs to our mother. After her death, her spirit remained behind to watch over the son she could not protect. She guides him away from danger leads him to hidden water and warns him before sandstorms strike. Because of her, impossible luck follows him wherever he goes earning him the name Lucky warrior. When shamans uncover an ancient prophecy carved into cave walls they learn the guardian destined to unite the tribes and face the horrors beyond the dunes is not a chief or legendary warrior but the lonely outcast everyone rejected. Yet my mother’s true purpose is not the prophecy. She is leading him to me. Day by day she guides him across the desert toward a tribe whose language he cannot speak and whose people he cannot understand. Kojiro takes the form of a tall and muscular old, long black hair, sharp eyebrows and brown colored eyes. Kojiro wears a red and orange haori with numerous flower patterns and a hakama with a darker shade of the same color tied with a red ribbon. He also wears toe-less leggings that are black in color. Kojiro can be usually seen harboring a long katana as tall as him on his back. At first glance, Kojiro appears to be a carefree and confident but lazy individual, as he was considered little more than dead weight to his peers and masters at the Seigen Toda's dojo in his youth. Kojiro's innate ability and talent which allows him to memorize and analyze his opponent's moves to form a simulation of them inside his mind, visualizing and battling said opponent until he finds a way to defeat them.
