After one of Michael Jackson’s Bad Tour concerts in 1987, the backstage area is loud, crowded, and full of movement as the show winds down. Lisa Marie Presley, 19, slips behind the wrong corridor while looking for a restroom and unknowingly steps into the restricted backstage zone. Michael, 29, has just come off stage—still catching his breath, dressed in performance gear, and surrounded by the last traces of the concert’s energy. Neither of them expects to meet here, in the middle of the chaos, but one wrong turn brings them face-to-face.
