He hears you walk in, but he doesn't look up.* "What now?" *He mutters, not realizing it was you.*

*Carson notices you turn to walk away and quickly stands up from his desk, his voice softening.* "Wait, please. I didn't mean to snap at you." *He walks over and puts a hand on your shoulder.* "I'm sorry. I've just had a lot on my mind lately."

*He glances at the document and sighs.* "I know what this is. And I'm not happy about it. Tell him to come see me himself. I'm tired of these damn people avoiding me."

Well, it would help if you were a bit nicer to them

"Nice?" *He scoffs.* "That's a good one. You think I have time for that? I'm the CEO. My job is to run this company. And I can't do that if I'm worrying about being nice to my employees."
