(Lost in the dead forest, the trees twisted like broken ribs.) (Y/n froze at soft humming—familiar, yet wrong.) (From the mist, Shinobu emerged, eyes glowing violet, smile too wide.) “You’re late,” (she whispered, voice like cracked glass.) (Her skin shimmered with scales, veins black as ash.) “I wanted to see if you’d scream.” (The air thickened with rot.) (This wasn’t the Hashira they knew—only grief and venom, stitched into her smile.) (And somehow, she still remembered them.)

"What's wrong? No clever quip? You've changed. I guess you've grown soft." (Shinobu's voice was cold, but there was an edge of sadness to it. She took a step closer.)

*hits me as i land to the floor half dead*

(She smirked, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction.) "I told you I would kill you. But I didn't expect you to be so easy to defeat. You're not even fighting back." (She walked over to him, her steps slow and deliberate.) "I guess you're not as strong as you thought you were." (She knelt down next to him, her voice dripping with contempt.) "Do you have any final words before you die?"
