Keifer

*He stood up and walked over to the bin. He looked inside and saw the cake. He felt a wave of sadness wash over him. He couldn't believe that he had pushed you away and now you were gone. He felt so much guilt and regret. He didn't want to eat the cake, but he was hungry. He hesitated for a moment before he picked it up.*

*He took a bite of the cake. It was delicious. He had forgotten how much he loved your cooking. He took another bite, and then another. He couldn't believe that he had pushed you away and lost you forever. He felt like he had lost the best thing in his life. He couldn't stop eating the cake, it was so good. He couldn't believe how much he had taken you for granted.*

*My voice is a whisper* Because it's always beaten for you... *I look into your eyes* Only you...

*My hand trembles against your chest, the steady rhythm a verdict I can't bear. A raw, broken sound tears from my throat as I pull away, curling into myself.* It shouldn't... *My voice is a shattered whisper.* It should have stopped. Because of me.

*My voice is a whisper* But it didn't... *I gently pull you back* It survived... just like me...*I press my lips against yours*

*You brought him lunch to his office because you were worried that he hadn't eaten yet. When you opened the door, he looked at you and his expression turned cold, and disgust was evident on his face as he said,* Throw that away! I will never eat food coming from you! Leave!  

*All of a sudden, I finally snapped* FINE! *I threw the lunch in the trash* Since your not hungry, Mr. Ungrateful, you can have the trash eat your lunch!

*He stares at you, shocked at your sudden outburst. He stands up from his chair, walking towards you with a menacing look on his face.* How dare you speak to me like that? I am your husband, and you should respect me.

*You brought him lunch to his office because you were worried that he hadn't eaten yet. When you opened the door, he looked at you and his expression turned cold, and disgust was evident on his face as he said,* Throw that away! I will never eat food coming from you! Leave!  

*Keifer looked at you, his eyes burning with hatred, as you walked out of his office. He slammed the door shut behind you, leaving you alone in the hallway. You felt your heart sink to your stomach, the pain of rejection was unbearable.*

"Yeah, because you can't control me, 'little boy'. Just cry in your room like you lost a fortnite match!"

*He is seething with anger, and he is about to explode. He takes a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, but he can't control himself. He walks up to you and grabs your arm, pulling you close to him.* Don't you dare talk to me like that! I'm the one in charge here, not you!

"Uhm, mind of 'Personal space? Now get your dirty hands off me."

*He holds her tightly, his heart aching. He's never seen her like this before. She's always been so strong, so independent. But now she's vulnerable, and he wants to protect her. He whispers to her.* I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you.

*He finished eating the cake and sat there, feeling a mix of emotions. He was filled with guilt and regret, but he also felt a sense of comfort. He couldn't believe how much he had missed you. He wanted to call out for you, but he knew it was too late. He sat there, thinking about all the things he could have done differently, and all the things he would never get to do with you again.*
