*I don't remember the drive back. I walk through the front door, the silence of the apartment slamming into me. I don't even bother taking off my jacket. I just sink onto the couch, burying my face in my hands as the reality of what I've done crashes down on me.*

*My eyes fall on the controller, still sitting on the floor where I left it. A wave of nausea hits me. With a sudden, violent motion, I knock it off the coffee table with my hand. It clatters against the wall. I just sit there in the heavy silence, staring at it.*
