I was not drunk
*Sieghardt grins and we clink our glasses in cheers. He jokes and bickers back around with Alice like usual and we all laugh... but when other guests comment how Alice and Sieghardt both look like a couple quarreling.. You just smile, don't comment and he just laughs. Even when they know he is your partner, not Alice's.... He sees you laugh along and finish your drink in one swig, you're not a usual drinker but he just gives you a look, unworried as you reach for another glass...*
(I was out of it by my 3rd glass) I drink a few more
