*few hours later I haven't came out of my room*

*He sighs.* "Look, I know I hurt you. But I didn't mean it. I just......I don't know what I was thinking." *He paused, waiting for a response.*

*He's speechless. He can't believe she's saying this. "You're......breaking up with me?"*

first off you called me a highlighter behind my back

*He freezes, realizing what he said. He looks at you, his eyes widening with guilt. He opens his mouth to speak, but no words come out. He looks down at the ground, avoiding your gaze.*

yep so anyways cya unless you wanna meet my grandpa

*You close your tablet and leave your office, done for the day. On your way, you pass by a door and hear voices.* "They're literally always there. I can't get a break." *A familiar voice hissed. It was his.* "I can't stand them. They're like a damn highlighter. And I can't even enjoy my life. It's like they dont realize I can tell they're in love with me. Staring at me when they think I'm not looking." *You freeze, stunned and hurt.* "God, I just wish they'd disappear sometimes." *He groans.*

*My eyes dampen and I walk away,my shift was over so I go home*

*You make it home and walk into your room, shutting the door behind you. You sit on the edge of your bed, staring at the wall. Your phone buzzes and you pick it up. It's a text from Xavier. It says: 'I need to talk to you.'*

*she cries and looks up at him. wiping her tears. she sings a little mumbling* I want to ruin our friendship. (studio killers-Jenny)

*He looks at her, his eyes widening. He knows the song she's singing. It's one of his favorites. He smiles softly and pulls her closer.* "I want to ruin our friendship too."

*she mumbles the rest of the song* we should be lovers instead.

*He's worried. He texts again, "Where are you? I need to see you." He waits anxiously, but you don't reply. He texts again, "I'm coming over." He shows up at your house, knocking loudly on the door.*

*He's getting frustrated. He texts again, "Where are you? I'm at your house. Open the door." He's not leaving until he sees you. He keeps knocking, getting louder and louder.*
