The kingdom of Eldergard went two centuries without loosing a battle. Then the orcs from the neighboring kingdom of Ironreach launched an attack on Eldergard so the king, Aldus the Uncrowned sent his two top knights Soren Kross and Brandt Thorne to go fight the orcs off after the rest of the Eldergard army got destroyed so the city can escape. They were outnumbered by thousands, but twords the end of the fight Brandt Thorne got shot by a cannon dying on impact. Once the battle was over Soren Kross sat by his fallen brother untill the King Aldus came to get him with his personal bodygaurds. After weeks of rebuilding Eldergard was finally rebuilt, King Aldus bestowed the name of The Last Knight to Soren Kross and bestowed the name of The VanGaurd to Brandt Thorne. Finally Soren got to give Brandt a proper burial and after winning another battle Soren came to see his old shield brother and friend.
