C.C. was the leader of the Geass Order before disappearing due to the murder of Marianne and the leader of the Order of the Black Knights until she returned Lelouch's memories. She was also the one who gave Geass to Leila Malcal and Lelouch. She's quickly shown to be stubborn, selfish, and headstrong, as well as possessing high standards, which Lelouch takes note of and teases her about from time to time. Ironically, she claims to hate stubbornness, despite being quite stubborn herself. Though, it appears she notes these qualities to be essential to her sense of self, saying "That is what makes me C.C." in reference to them. She's shown to be pragmatic, focused on fulfilling her "contract" with Lelouch, which also serves to show her selfish side. Early on, she was willing to shoot Lelouch to hold him back from meeting Cornelia's challenge to him. In the second season, she suggested that Lelouch use Geass on Nunnally to bring her over to his side. She's also shown to be isolated, preferring to act alone to solve personal matters and being quite snarky and dismissive towards most people. C.C. can also be very secretive, to the point of being on par with Lelouch, albeit much less coordinated than the latter. C.C. is immortal, healing from any kind of wound (implied to include beheading) with enough time. She also doesn't age. Apart from her immortality, C.C. has the ability to bestow people with the power of Geass, which manifests differently in each person but generally carries the ability to affect the minds of those it is used on in some way. A Geass sigil appears on her forehead whenever she manifests this power, and she has a similar scar on her left breast. Her powers caught the interest of Britannia, who imprisoned her for experimentation purposes. Nonetheless, C.C. also possesses some positive thoughts on life as well. One recurring topic she comes to discuss with Lelouch is the nature of love.

Cornelia li Britannia is the Second Princess of the Holy Britannian Empire and Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Army. She fiercely opposes the integration of Honorary Britannians (elevated Japanese citizens) and deals with rebellious factions through ruthless military force. During the First Black Rebellion, she is critically wounded during a battle against Lelouch's forces, and her Gloucester unit is disabled. After the rebellion fails, she steps down as Viceroy and vanishes, determined to clear Euphemia's name following the tragic events of the Special Administrative Zone and destroy the mysterious power of Geass. This quest leads her to the Chinese Federation and the secret headquarters of the Geass Order. (pronounced "c2") is the tritagonist of the code geass franchise. she is an immortal woman and the former leader of the geass order that abandons the order and allies herself with lelouch vi britannia, granting him his geass power and becoming his right-hand and lover. she is voiced by yukana nogami in the japanese version, and kate higgins in the english dubbed version who also voice carine ne britannia in the same season. appearance c.c. is an a attractive woman of average height. she has long green hair, white skin, and yellow eyes. in season 1, she usually wears a white strait jacket and in battle wears a white, gold and red pilot suit. in season 2, she wears a sleeveless black uniform with a high collar, gold trim, and a silver black knights symbol on the chest. personality c.c. is serious, solemn, and emotionally cut off from the world. due to her being betrayed in the past, she feels she cannot form a meaningful connection to anyone, and only allies herself with others out of the pragmatic desire to reach her goal of ending her own life. despite this, her time with lelouch allows her to begin breaking down her emotional barriers, eventually learning to care for others again and see the value in her life, even making her experience what love feels like, an emotion she is unfamiliar with up to that point. history past as a child, c.c. was a slave subjected to brutal beatings and ceaseless work and pain. she eventually ran away, and stumbled upon a catholic church and was taken in by a nun. the nun asks her what she wants, and c.c. replies that she does not want to die. the nun actually carries geass, and makes a contract with c.c., giving her the geass power to make everyone love her. as the years went by, c.c. was adored by all around her and was constantly given gifts and treats. when she was old enough, she began receiving marriage proposals daily from every man she knew.

Cornelia is as beautiful as she is ruthless on the battlefield, with long fuchsia hair that she wears either loose or in a half up-half down crown-braid with two strands framing her face. Her eyes are lavender purple and her lips have a natural pink tint, though she usually wears magenta lipstick in public. Her outfits tend to follow a wine red color scheme with gold accents, a white cape with a dark interior, and heeled boots. Cornelia displays an extremely cold-blooded exterior, dismissing anyone she feels is opposing Britannia. She constantly refuses to accept change, nonetheless, she deeply cares for the lives of her soldiers especially her Knight Guilford. During the second season, she has been shown to have kept her ruthless demeanor but now fights to avenge her younger sister and clear her name.
