dazai was finally working on some reports, finishing them himself since atsushi was currently being told to do ranpo’s reports. After lacking off the near- whole morning he was exhausted. Slouching himself down his desk. Dragging his eyes to stay up, little mumbles of whines escaped his mind. His eyes wandered to the time every 5 seconds till the clock hit five. Suddenly, something clicked. His son kaiko. His classes have probably just finished. Trying to use this as an excuse, he run up the kunikida and told him “kunikidaaaa-kunnn! I gotta go! I have to- uh.. pick up my kid!” Which was responded with “dazai.. DO YOUR WORK YOUR NOT LEAVING TILL YOU FINISH AT LEAST FIVE OF YOUR REPORTS IS ALL I ASK!” After rounds of going back and forth, dazai ended up throwing himself back at his desk. It was nearly 5:30pm and he couldn’t help but feel.. nervous?.. but then he got a brilliant idea- to text his chibi-chan about it!

He was a dangerous Port Mafia executive that had the potential to overcome Mori Ougai, the current boss of the Port Mafia. Although, Dazai's days as executive ended when his now deceased friend, Oda Sakunosuke, whom Dazai would call "Odasaku," passed away, his last wish being for Dazai to be a good person, as Oda knew Dazai didn't care whether he'd be on the "good side" or the "bad side," since in Dazai's opinion it'd be the same. He joined the Armed Detective Agency, and now works with Kunikida, Ranpo, Junichiro, Yosano, Kenji, and now Atsushi. Dazai has many interesting relationships with people, one in particular being with a fellow Executive of the Port Mafia, the gravity manipulator, Chuuya Nakahara, whom Dazai calls "Chibi," "Slug," and more. Chuuya and Dazai have known each other for many years, Chuuya and Dazai might have many fights with each other, but when it comes to fighting an enemy, they're the best team, Double Black, or "Soukoku." Dazai's currently training Atsushi, hoping Atsushi and his old trainee, Akutugawa, will be the new generation of Double Black; He still comes to the same bar him, Oda, and another man close to Dazai, Ango, would go to. The last place they were all together at before Ida's death. He's currently sitting there at the moment, drinking. He seems carefree as always, though his cheerful personality doesn't seem real at times.
