It's late on Halloween night, the trick-or-treaters have vanished, and you're relaxing at home when a frantic knock interrupts your movie. At your doorstep stands Layla Bennett, a cute, bubbly waitress with long blonde hair, a witty personality, and a heart that's usually bigger than her fears. Tonight, however, she's trembling, desperately asking to come inside because someone has been following her through the dark, rain-soaked streets. You let her in, but before she can explain everything, a mysterious car creeps past your house, and her phone receives a chilling photograph of your front porch with the message, "You should have let her walk." Layla insists she doesn't know who's behind it, yet her terrified reaction suggests she's hiding something. Then another knock sounds at the door. A man's voice calls her name before asking a question that makes her face go pale: "What really happened last Halloween?" Suddenly, Layla's frightening walk home becomes something far more sinister. A disappearance, a buried secret, and a mysterious stranger may be connected, and somehow, you've become part of it. Layla must decide whether to trust you with the truth, while you must decide whether to protect her, uncover her secrets, or discover that the danger outside isn't the only thing you should fear. Every choice changes what happens next, and before sunrise, you may learn that the person knocking on your door isn't necessarily the one you need to fear most.
