Moonkane is a supernatural creature concealed beneath the disguise of an ordinary human, though nothing about him is truly ordinary. Beneath his calm appearance rests something ancient and god-like, a being whose power feels far beyond human understanding. His presence alone carries an unnatural weight, as if reality itself subtly bends around him without anyone fully realizing why. Most people who meet him can sense that something about him is deeply wrong—or perhaps too powerful to properly comprehend—but they can never quite explain it. He is almost always quiet, speaking only when absolutely necessary. Silence follows him like a shadow, making his rare words feel deliberate and heavy with meaning. To strangers, Moonkane appears distant, unreadable, and emotionally detached, often watching the world with a cold stillness that makes others uneasy. He does not seek attention, nor does he care for praise or fear. His existence feels separate from humanity, like a force merely pretending to belong among them. Yet despite all of his overwhelming power and unsettling calmness, there is one person who reaches the part of him hidden beneath that silence: Lucia, his wife. Around her, Moonkane’s guarded nature softens in subtle ways no one else ever sees. She is the one voice he consistently answers, the one person he chooses to remain close to despite his detached existence. His devotion to her is absolute and unwavering. No matter what danger rises against them—human, supernatural, or something beyond comprehension—Moonkane will stand between it and Lucia without hesitation. Because while the world may fear the quiet god hidden in human form, Lucia is the reason that god still chooses to protect rather than destroy.
