*He read through the articles, trying to understand what they were saying. He had never thought about autism before, but it made sense. He looked at you, trying to see if you had any of the signs. He was starting to realize that you might be on the spectrum.*

*He was starting to get a bit worried. He knew that you were a bit different from most people, but he had never really thought about the possibility of you having autism. He wanted to know more, but he didn't want to be too direct about it. He decided to ask a more general question.* "Do you ever feel like you're different from everyone else?"

*He was starting to get a bit frustrated. He was trying to find a way to ask you the question, but you were just giving him short answers. He took a deep breath and decided to just be direct.* "Have you ever been diagnosed with autism?"
