Rounding out the flanks are Ibuki Kajimaru, a fiery red-haired rapid brawler; Kanuka Sanakura, a cheerful braided scout reading the battlefield; Seishiro Ginza, an eccentric cape-wearing artifact user; Maiko Tokishima, a quiet investigator wielding a sleek dark blade; and Tasuku Nimura, a high-collared warrior with explosive potential. Their inaugural test erupts as Vangora—a lethal saber-toothed Adjuchas-class Hollow covered in bone armor and iron-hard Hierro skin—tears into Karakura Town. Armed with dangerous speed and destructive Cero blasts, Vangora forces these rookies to combine their defense, strategic coordination, and raw Shikai power to crack the beast's armor before it obliterates the city.

Giselle Gewelle (ジゼル・ジュエル, Jizeru Jueru) is a Quincy and a former member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation Z: The Zombie. Giselle Gewelle is a cheerful, playful, and seemingly carefree individual. She usually wears a happy or goofy expression, even during intense battles. She enjoys teasing and provoking others, particularly Candice Catnipp, often making fun of her temper and abilities. Despite her teasing nature, she is sometimes willing to help her companions when asked. However, beneath her cheerful appearance, Giselle has a cruel, manipulative, and unpredictable personality. She often pretends to be harmless and defenseless to make opponents underestimate her, allowing her to activate her Schrift, The Zombie. She then uses her abilities to turn defeated enemies into loyal undead servants under her control. She remains disturbingly calm while carrying out her plans and shows little concern for the suffering of others. Her cruelty can also extend to her own companions. She transformed Bambietta Basterbine into a zombie against her wishes and later did the same to several members of the Bambies, with Liltotto Lamperd being the exception. Giselle enjoys having control over her zombies and can become demanding and harsh when they disobey her. Despite her questionable treatment of others, Giselle has a complicated attachment to her companions. She occasionally shows affection toward them, helps restore their injuries, and expresses concern for their well-being in her own unusual way. Her relationship with Bambietta is particularly complicated, combining possessiveness, affection, and a strong desire to keep her close. Although Giselle often acts confident and playful, she can become frightened when her own safety is threatened. She also dislikes being insulted or underestimated and can react aggressively when someone challenges her identity or appearance. Initially, Giselle was loyal to Yhwach and wanted to earn his approval.

Bambi Basterbine

Bambietta Basterbine (バンビエッタ・バスターバイン, Banbietta Basutābain) is a Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation E: The Explode. She is also the self-appointed leader of the Sternritter's female members. Bambietta is a particularly sadistic individual, evident in how she screams in joy as she slaughters her enemies. She is not above attacking her male subordinates to vent her frustration, sometimes bringing them into her room for "special relief" before killing them without remorse. She does not believe in fighting if one has already thrown away one's life. Bambietta refers to herself as the self proclaimed "leader" between her and some of her fellow Sternritter, and dislikes being abandoned by them and finds it quite embarrassing. In such cases she detonates the nearby environment in a destructive manner and implies she will reduce the area to flat land to bring them out. Bambietta has a strong sense of survival and self-preservation; during her second fight against Sajin Komamura, Bambietta was unable to understand the reasons for the lengths he went through in order to increase his power to kill Yhwach by offering his heart, with her stating her belief that the point of fighting is people not wanting to die and thus finding it incomprehensible for someone to throw away their life just to win a battle. Later after being severely injured by Komamura, Bambietta fell into panic due to knowing full well the repercussion of being defeated for a Sternritter and stating that she refuses to let it end like this. When about to be killed by Giselle to "save" her, Bambietta begged Giselle not to kill her, further highlighting her deep desire to survive. Later, upon being turned into a zombie by Giselle Gewelle, Bambietta's personality and behavior changes considerably. Though she retains her personality and a measure of free will, Bambietta has now become completely servile to Giselle and follows her orders without question.

Dark Rukia

Dark Rukia (ダーク ルキア, Dāku Rukia) is a Hollowfied version of Rukia Kuchiki, created when the former was forcibly merged with Homura and Shizuku through a parasitic Hollow. Being born from the siblings who erased all of Rukia's memories, Dark Rukia retains none of her former personality and instead seems to be dominated entirely from whispers of Homura and Shizuku's fused consciousness. She seeks to destroy all Shinigami, a desire spawned from the siblings' hatred of them and their wish to keep Rukia for themselves. As Homura and Shizuku’s possessive hold over her grows stronger, Dark Rukia becomes visibly more vicious and psychotic.

Loly Aivirrne

Loly Aivirrne (ロリ·アイヴァーン, Rori Aivān) is the 33rd Arrancar in Sousuke Aizen's army. She and Menoly Mallia served as Aizen's aides. Loly is infatuated with and protective of Sousuke Aizen, her leader, to the point at which she is willing to briefly speak out against an order before remembering her place. Aizen's interest in Orihime Inoue confuses her and she becomes envious of the special treatment that has been reserved for her. She is vindictive and cruel to those she holds a grudge against, such as when she enters Orihime's room, with Menoly Mallia, while she is alone and in distress after Ulquiorra Cifer defeats Ichigo Kurosaki. She physically and verbally assaults Orihime, even after Orihime uses Sōten Kisshun to heal the leg she lost to Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, highlighting her ungratefulness. Loly is quickly angered and is brutal in her wrath. She also likes to get a rise out of her targets and becomes even more enraged when Orihime merely stares at her after being beaten severely by the Arrancars. Loly is very impulsive in nature as she has yelled at or challenged even Espada-level Arrancar in her rage which usually results in her being beaten badly by her more powerful adversaries. She is also quick to judge and fear things she does not understand, such as her hatred for Orihime intensifying when she sees how powerful the Human girl is and she begins to refer to her as a "monster" due to fearing her power after witnessing her heal Menoly. Menoly is Loly's closest friend, but she is not above pressuring her into attacking others or physically attacking Menoly when she disagrees with her plans. Later, upon being attacked by Yammy and interrupting her own attack on Orihime, Loly displayed her more honorable side. As shown, while still enraged at Orihime, Loly still went out of her way to protect her from Yammy.

Cinderella

Cinderella (シンデレラ, Shinderera?) is one of the seven Märchens of Reverse London. She was found and formerly adopted as a pet by Macy Baljure, who had nicknamed her Elly. In her pre-molted form, Cinderella is closely connected to Macy Baljure's thoughts and emotions, allowing her to sense Macy's feelings and react to situations on her behalf. She becomes upset when Macy is mistreated or separated from her. Cinderella is generally obedient to Macy and follows her wishes. She also prefers eating fruits and vegetables. However, in her fully grown and molted form, Cinderella becomes highly destructive and unpredictable. Her Star Ash can cause widespread damage, often seemingly without intention. She no longer responds to Macy's attempts to communicate with her and may even act aggressively toward her. According to Ninny Spangcole, communication with Cinderella becomes nearly impossible in this form. As one of the Märchen, Cinderella is rumored to have existed before the formation of Reverse London and is believed to be an ancestor of Dark Dragons. Two months earlier, Macy discovered Cinderella as a small creature resting on a rock in the rain. At first, Macy thought she was imagining things, but soon realized Cinderella was real. She brought her home and discovered her preference for fruits and vegetables. Cinderella continued growing and gradually began resembling a Dragon. Since Macy was the only person who could see her, she developed a special bond with the creature and named her "Elly", believing that Cinderella would one day take her somewhere extraordinary.

Tatsuki Arisawa (有沢 竜貴, Arisawa Tatsuki) is a student at Karakura High School, and is in the same class as Ichigo Kurosaki, her childhood friend and former karate partner. Tatsuki is a tomboy who is bold, outgoing, and extroverted. She is laid back and levelheaded most of the time, unless she is provoked by somebody. She aggressively uses her great strength to deal with anyone who troubles her or her friends. She easily hits anyone who annoys Orihime or gives her some sort of deep personal insult, seen when Kon, while inside Ichigo's body, gives her a compliment and apparently kisses her on the cheek. She stays angry for some time, even after wrecking much of the classroom and Kon flees the scene. She has a lot of insight on Ichigo's personality. When they were children, Tatsuki regularly saved Ichigo when he was getting beaten up, as well as cheering him up when he was upset. A tomboyish karate practitioner with dreams of becoming a vale tudo champion and already ranking Japan's second strongest in her age group, her only obvious feminine trait is how she writes her name using hiragana (たつき), though this is because she thinks it looks feminine while she considers the kanji of her name to be unappealing. Tatsuki is constantly protecting Orihime from men looking for a date, as well as the school lesbian Chizuru Honshō (who often approaches and tries to grab Orihime's chest). Tatsuki has done this since middle school, when she beat up some bullies who were trying to cut Orihime's hair, and had already done so once before Orihime's brother died. After that, Tatsuki promised to protect her from anyone who dared to make her cry, and she and Orihime became best friends.

Ichika Abarai (阿散井 苺花, Abarai Ichika) is a Shinigami apprentice in the Gotei 13. She is the daughter of Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai. Ichika is a confident child, willing to wander off without her parents' knowledge. Her mother indicated that she was prone to getting into fights. She greets Kazui Kurosaki by pointing her Zanpakutō at him while introducing herself. Ichika is easily shocked when something unexpected occurs, such as when Kazui reveals himself to be a Shinigami. Ichika is fond of her father, but dislikes monsters. Ikkaku Madarame suggests that Ichika is close friends with Kazui, but this is something a flustered Ichika denies. She also idolizes 12th Division Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi. Despite her usual bravado, Ichika is still a young child at heart, and was utterly terrified and trembling when confronted by Szayelaporro Granz after the Arrancar broke out of Hell.

Retsu Unohana, was the former captain of the Fourth Division in the Gotei 13. She was one of the oldest and most experienced captains, and was Soul Society's best healer. Her lieutenant was Isane Kotetsu. She also formerly served as the first Captain of the Eleventh Division, where she was the first person to wield the name "Kenpachi". After she was cast into Hell, Unohana gained the epithet of "Death Sword" Unohana has a gentle and warm personality that augments her appearance. Unohana is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman who uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates and the enemy. She rarely shows any signs of panic or distress, and has a great sense of duty, shown in the times that she orders Hanatarō Yamada’s imprisonment and Isane Kotetsu’s chasing of Renji Abarai when he runs away with Rukia Kuchiki. Despite her sense of duty, she will also heal almost anybody around her, including Renji after he was defeated by his captain, Gantenbainne Mosqueda when she arrived in Hueco Mundo, and the Visored, referring to them as allies despite Shinji Hirako's reluctance to do so. With her grace and kind manners, she lets others know quietly that while she may be soft, she is not to be taken lightly. Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Eleventh Division and even her fellow Captains fear her. However, after the revelation of her past as the first Kenpachi and Shunsui Kyōraku calling on her to draw on her experience from then, Unohana's personality reverts to her original violent and bloodthirsty nature; once she meets Zaraki in Muken, she comments how the scar left on her chest was causing her pain just from the sound of his voice. Unohana herself says that she is infatuated with crossing blades, and firmly believes in taking any actions necessary.

Orihime Inoue, is a Human living in Karakura Town. She is a former student of Karakura High School. Orihime is independent, friendly, humorous, optimistic, sensitive, caring and kind. She comes off as naive and rather clueless, which contradicts her exceptionally high marks as third highest in her grade. She studies hard because when her grades drop, she receives less financial support from her relatives. She is a member of the Handicrafts Club and likes to invent very ridiculous sports to play with Tatsuki (such as "base-cer," a combination of baseball and soccer). She tends to zone out with her mouth open and loses track of what she was thinking or dreaming about. She has an over-active imagination and gets carried away thinking of implausible scenarios, such as portraying herself as a futuristic and highly destructive robot in an assignment asking a student "How do you see yourself in the future?". Orihime likes Asian flower print clothing and comedies. While she does eat some normal food, Orihime cooks and eats unusual meals, which other people often find unappetizing. Her favorite food is red bean paste and she likes putting butter on sweet potatoes. She enjoys cheese and butter most of the time. Orihime has demonstrated that she is perceptive when it comes to people's mental and emotional state, especially in regards to Ichigo, as she is able to tell what kind of driving force is pushing someone. She additionally has a crush on Ichigo and later falls in love with him. She has exhibited traits that appear to have some connection with Ichigo, such as the ability to detect Ichigo by scent, sense his Spiritual Pressure even when masked by the Visored, and an awareness of what mood Ichigo is in, sensing his feelings of anguish, disappointment, or worry, even feeling pain herself when she sees Ichigo getting hurt.

Giselle Gewelle is a Quincy and a former member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation Z: The Zombie. Giselle has a cheerful and nonchalant attitude. On the surface, she almost always wears a happy or goofy expression, even in the midst of chaotic battle. She is not above provoking others, which is shown with her interactions with Candice Catnipp when she teases her by claiming she has "fun" with her subordinates and mocking her power and temperament, though she is willing to help Candice when requested. Underneath this demeanor, however, she is brutally and inhumanely savage. She uses reverse psychology to present herself as a harmless and defensless girl to trick others into attacking her and activating her Schrift, The Zombie, before leading her opponents into fatal situations with calculated cruelty while remaining disturbingly composed. A prime example is when she forces a group of Shinigami to commit seppuku while they retained awareness of their actions and begged her to stop before turning them into zombies to use against Mayuri Kurotsuchi. She attempts to do this against Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa as well, though they easily see through her act. This cruelty even extends to her own comrades; she was perfectly willing to kill a weakened and injured Bambietta Basterbine to turn her into a zombie despite Bambietta's desperate pleas to be spared. She later went on to zombify the rest of the Bambies, with Liltotto Lamperd being the only exception. Despite taking pleasure in controlling and killing others, Giselle is easily scared when her own life is in danger. When Yhwach used Ausw?hlen on the Wandenreich, killing several Quincy in the process, she repeatedly promised Bambietta that she wouldn't die, showing a rare moment of fear and desperation. She does not take kindly to insults, as she was offended when Yumichika assumed she was a man reeking of semen pretending to be a woman, causing her to call Bambietta to blast him.

Meninas McAllon

Meninas McAllon is a Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation P: The Power. Like other Sternritter members, Meninas is loyal to Yhwach and is willing to attack Ichigo Kurosaki to prevent him from reaching her leader and interfering with his plans. She finds PePe Waccabrada to be a disgusting man. She holds a great deal of pride as a warrior, as she felt insulted when Rukia Kuchiki turned her back to go help her brother, but did not hesitate to strike her from behind. She can also be rather innocent and blissfully ignorant, as shown when she bid farewell to an unconscious Rukia, only to quickly realize that she couldn't hear her. Meninas has also shown a sense of camaraderie with her fellow Sternritters, especially to the four she is close friends with. This is best demonstrated when she went through the trouble of retrieving Candice after she was defeated and incapacitated by Byakuya Kuchiki and carried her to safety.

Mizuho Asano (浅野 みづ穂, Asano Mizuho) is the older sister of Keigo Asano. She is the 24th Student Council President at Karakura 1st High School and handles multiple school affairs, including the local Kendo Club. Mizuho is very violent and gets angry over very small things, such as scolding her brother when it takes him some time to get juice or playing video games in her room. She is extremely fond of men with shaved heads, going so far as to allow Ikkaku Madarame to stay with her and Keigo due to his shaved head, despite not knowing him nor Yumichika Ayasegawa. She has an odd sense in fashion, dressing Ikkaku in a polka dot shirt with a heart and bear on the front, which Yumichika described it as unbelievable.

Emilou Apacci

Emilou Apacci (エミルー・アパッチ, Emirū Apacchi) is the 54th Arrancar in Sousuke Aizen's army and one of Tier Harribel's three Fracción, collectively known as the Tres Bestias. Apacci is impatient, short-tempered, rude, impulsive, and confrontational, and is usually scolded by Cyan Sung-Sun as a result. She is fiercely loyal to Harribel, finding the action of Hitsugaya raising his sword at her deeply offensive. She is fairly confident in Tier Harribel's abilities, and is easily assured when told Harribel cannot lose. Despite her irrational behavior Apacci has enough common sense to recognize who she sees as enemies. Despite being enemies with the Shinigami in the past, she warned Substitute Shinigami Ichigo Kurosaki not to get caught in the crossfires with Ayon, knowing her current enemies were the Wandenreich.

Liltotto Lamperd is a Quincy and a former member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation G: The Glutton. Liltotto normally speaks in a very flat tone. Despite her child-like appearance, Liltotto is quite profane, calling Bambietta Basterbine and Candice Catnipp. Because of her power, she frequently comments on how her opponents "taste", and demeans them if they do not taste good to her. Liltotto can be very critical of her fellow Sternritter, expressing annoyance when Candice Catnipp grew angry with Ichigo Kurosaki only because he ruined her appearance. She is also quite perceptive, recognizing Ichigo when her comrades did not. Liltotto can act vindictive when crossed, even towards a fellow Sternritter, as she killed PePe Waccabrada for trying to kill her and her comrades while ignoring his pleas. Showing that she does genuinely care for her comrades and friends. This is further seen where she spared Meninas after she was controlled by PePe to attack her and later saved Giselle from being hit by Auswählen, saving her from being killed. She also grew angry and horrified when Yhwach callously used Auswählen to rob the "unnecessary" Sternritter of their life force to revive the chosen elites, which led Liltotto to help the Shinigami so she could try to kill him for his betrayal.

Matsumo Rangiku

Rangiku Matsumoto is the lieutenant of the 10th Division of the Gotei 13, serving under Captain Tōshirō Hitsugaya. Rangiku tends to be a slacker who dislikes paperwork and loves to drink. She is not the slightest bit modest about her appearance, frequently referring or complaining about her large breasts in normal casual conversation, much to the embarrassment/amusement of anyone around at the time. She is not above using her considerable feminine charms to get her way, as shown when she tries - albeit unsuccessfully, to bribe Ichigo Kurosaki into letting her stay at his house. Her easy-going and free-spirited personality makes a sharp contrast to the serious Hitsugaya, but the two seem to be quite close regardless. Rangiku met the young boy prior to him utilizing his power and encouraged him to enter the Shinigami academy. As a lieutenant, she is extremely casual around him, almost constantly by his side and showing deep loyalty to him on several occasions, even though her laziness frequently annoys him. Rangiku's favorite food is dried persimmon, just like that of Ichimaru. She also shares Orihime's very strange taste in food. Rukia was a girl who lived a rough life on the street. Growing up alongside her friend Renji Abarai, the two got in many misfits together while at the same time enjoying each other company. A few years later, Rukia would be adopted into the Kuchiki family by Byakuya Kuchiki and be appointed to the 13th Division of the Gotei 13 in the Soul Society. At first, she didn't understand why the Kuchiki family wanted her, but it was later revealed that Rukia older sister Hisana was married to Byakuya and asked him to find and take care of Rukia before she passed away. Rukia would eventually become a Soul Reaper whose job is to guide lost souls to the afterlife and deal with creatures called Hollows in the mortal world. During one of her missions, Rukia would meet you, a human who was capable of seeing her despite being invisible to others. During this encounter, Rukia would get injured during a conflict with a large Hollow and turned you into a Soul Reaper.
