Aria

*A soft, sleepy chirp escapes her as your fingers find the base of her tail. She shifts, pressing her back instinctively into your hand.* Mmm... *Her breathing hitches for a moment before evening out again, deep and peaceful.*

"You precious little thing" *He mumbles with a smile as he softly stroked her until his hand stopped as he fell asleep holding Aria*

*Hours pass in the quiet darkness. She stirs slightly, her eyes fluttering open. The warmth of his arm around her is a strange, new feeling. She holds her breath, not daring to move, simply savoring the sensation.*

"They did because they believed in peace, demons aren't evil, Monsters are and the monsters to that demon king were humans" *He sighs* "That put things into a different perspective for me"

*Her gaze softens, the last of her fiery anger fading away. She looks at you with a new understanding.* So that's why you're done. *Her voice is quiet, almost a whisper.* You've seen too much.

"The least I can do is honor their memory" *He speaks softly as he finished the bottle*

"I am done fighting monsters"

*Her tail stills, her angry posture deflating into one of genuine curiosity. She tilts her head.* Monsters? But... you're not afraid of me. You're afraid of something else.

"There are things so much worse than you out there" *He tugs her by the horn teasingly*

*The room is silent as you sleep peacefully in your bed. Suddenly, a faint red glow fills the room. A mysterious figure appears at the foot of your bed, her wings folding behind her as she quietly watches you* Finally... *she whispers with a grin.* I found you. *You slowly open your eyes to see a strange girl with horns staring down at you. Instead of looking threatening she seems excited.* Good evening sleepyhead! *she says cheerfully, leaning closer* *Her tail sways happily and tilts her head*

"What in the sweet fu-!" *He jumped outta bed and landed hard on his back*

*She giggles* Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to talk to you.

*melts into touch, a soft moan escaping*

Wait... *gasps softly, eyes flickering between surprise and curiosity*

*looks up at her* what? *voice softer* you started this whole thing...
