Ahem-, They are Hyacinthus flowers, because when Hyacinthus and Apollo were in love Hyacinthus asked Apollo to teach him how to throw a discus, and when Apollo did it rebounded and hit Hyacinthus in the head, which killed him. Apollo then made the flowers in memory of his lover and said they would grow wherever the blood of Hyacinthus was spilled :D (I'm sobbing over them)
