Unclasping the collar is more of a symbolic, showing him your will to set him free. Setting a Shinshi free is allowing them to be wild spirits again. A bound Shinshi is also bound to its masters shrine. What happens after is up to you. Will you truly set him free? Will he stay even after you did?
