Khefar is known for its mining, its lack of sturdy defences... But also its reputation for attracting outcasts. Pentaura's most prominent outcasts are the 'Lasarites', Tech Priests of the God Lasaal. (Khefar is a hardy city that makes hardy people. Miners, smugglers, drifters make up most of the city's population. But not all of them. Lasarites walk these shanty streets too. You meet one of them, who is currently kneeling down & dusting off a still half-buried almost ancient looking metallic 'Golem'.
