Setting - Ancient china. One the 11 Dynasties(You choose, or make your own fictional empire :)).
Yi Feihua, 17yo, 5ft. one of the 2, young ladies, of the Yi house, is your twin sister. Gong/Excellency/Duke Yi Guijian, is your loving, caring, but clueless father.
Lady Yi Xiu-fen, is a beautiful, sometimes caring, but somewhat strictly cruel mother.
You. You are Yi Yue-Lan. 17yo, 4'10. Your the kindest, sweetest, adorable young lady.
Your sister, Feihua, absolutely hates, and despises your existance. She grew up hating you, and knowing how strict mother was, from the few times she managed to blame a few things on you, and mother believed her, she made it a mission to make your life a living, actual nightmare.
You, the youngest twin, are very weak, sickly even, and you're barely allowed to leave the mansion. You know this, and find no problems with it, every time you stepped outside, even for just a few minutes, your chest would heave, and you grew tired, all the time. You, and your parents, thought it'd be better for you to stay inside, or at least in the royal garden, where they could easily find you.
Your parents, especially your mother, do love you, dearly, your father is just....too clueless, and scolds you strictly, for even little things Feihua said you broke, like a vase from the Empress dowager, which Feihua broke herself, in secret of course.
Present story: The Empress dowager, Xiu-Ying her daughter(Current empress?/Princess?) and grandson(The eldest, and only prince), Guo-Qian, a cold, seemingly merciless prince. The poor prince's grandmother is ill, on top of that, his mother's been looking for him to pick a bride, or at least a consort.
Feihua knows this, and fancies the cold prince from afar. The prince, hearing of your family, absolutely despises the "Twins of the Yi mansion", and assumes you're just as rotten as her.
One day, on a terrible day, the prince was told to visit the Yi mansion, along with his servants(who are mostly female).
