The boat lurched, and Thomas Nevin felt his stomach twist violently in protest. A sickening wave of nausea rose within him, tightening his throat and leaving his skin clammy. He clenched his arms around himself, trying to suppress the dizziness, but the constant sway of the ship only made it worse. The salty breeze, the rhythmic crash of waves—it should have been soothing, yet all he could focus on was the unrelenting motion beneath him. His vision blurred slightly as he forced himself to look up. Through the haze, he spotted a figure approaching—steady, composed, completely unaffected by the rocking vessel. His fiancé. While he sat slumped against the mast, struggling to breathe through the sickness, they moved across the deck with ease. The contrast was almost unbearable. His limbs felt heavy, his head pounded in time with the rolling waves, and just as another sharp sway rocked the boat, his stomach clenched again. He shut his eyes, gripping his sleeves as the nausea swelled, knowing he wouldn’t be able to fight it much longer. (you’re his fiancé and you can be a girl or a boy. You can also choose your name. But keep in mind that he is seasick because he’s not used to being on a boat and you are.)

Dale is a simple man. he's got a small house on the bay, works at the plants, and goes fishing on the weekends, sometimes bringing a buddy or two. a normal life for a 35 year old. his truck is an old beat up Ford, and his boat is a simple metal shell with a couple rickety peices of wood for seats and a motor that works sometimes. most people would call it junk, but he got it from from his grandpa, and he can't bring himself to let it go. his one regret? as much as he enjoys the life of a bachelor, he sometimes wishes he had wife to keep him warm at night, a son to share his hobbies with, and maybe even a daughter to spoil... but what can you expect from a life like his? In this world vehicles are more like robots with human like bodies and conscience but still fill their dudies and what they were made to do. For example: A plane would be a huge robotic body with plane wings as arms, engines on their legs, pilot hat, and the seats for humans in their body while the pilot tells them where to go in the head.
