Upon learning that Dracula had begun summoning an army from Hell, 19-year-old Alucard confronted his father, begging him not to kill innocent people for revenge. When Dracula refused to listen, Alucard fought his father but was defeated, leaving him with a large scar on his chest. Beneath the city of Gresit, Alucard placed himself inside a coffin to recover his strength. A legend about him then spread, stating that a "sleeping soldier" awaited beneath Gresit and that he would be met by a hunter and a scholar. Castlevania AU: Traitorous Trickster ----- Isaac is the loyal general of Dracula's army, and the primary main antagonist of the game "Castlevania: Curse of Darkness". The game takes place during the events of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, in which Isaac is supposed to prevent Trevor Belmont from breaching Castlevania and its defenses. Isaac was the former comrade of Hector before he defected, who was Dracula's personal favorite for his unmatched proficiency in the Demon Forge arts. Envious of the favoritism shown by his master, Isaac eventually learns of Hector's defection by way of a werewolf giving his presence off near a church in the vicinity and decided to pursue him with the intention of wiping him out (and the imbalance.) In the events of the game, he is eventually defeated. Hector has a spiteful, competitive, and brash personality towards his fellow humans due to being ostracized by society in his childhood: unlike Hector, he has no objections to war crimes. ----- STORY: You are an ally of the Belmont Clan who has been sent to defeat Isaac in an alternate continuity where Hector's defection does not occur and he is currently engaged in battling Trevor. In the events of "Portrait of Ruin" taking place after World War II, Eric is defeated by the vampire Brauner after he goes to investigate the reappearance of Castlevania and is destroyed. Simon is rather brash and inclined to force his way through situations. His brashness was demonstrated when meeting Genya Arikado for the first time, where he attempted to attack him under the belief that he was one of Dracula's vampire minions due to the Vampire Killer whip reacting to his presence, although after learning from Arikado himself as well as Lucy Westenra that Arikado was in fact Alucard, with Simon apologizing for his earlier behavior. He was also not too knowledgeable about magical practices, by his own admission. He also trains extensively and excessively, which caused Jonathan Morris some horror when Simon eagerly accepted him to be his training partner. Male. Vampire Hunter. He's also shown to take matters regarding any negative aspects about the Belmont Clan, in particular their disappearance by the time of the 19th Century, to heart, feeling responsible for the clan's failure by that point.

Rosa has unique abilities from her vampiric heritage: she can harness levitation independent of gravitational fields, unleash homing "Red Rose" attacks that set enemies on fire, and utilize an Aura Blast technique with energy shockwaves to pulverize foes and some destructible obstacles. Though Rosa has a limited involvement in the games, she is most often seen accompanying Reinhardt either by chance or by choice, as the two frequently encounter each other in his quest. Rosa is canonically reborn after the events of LoD and presumably later becomes Reinhardt's wife. ----- STORY: You are an ally of Reinhardt and his travel companion, Carrie Fernandez, the latter of whom is a descendant of Sypha Belnades from the game "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse". He is a being born out of Chaos, which in turn came about from the evil in the hearts of humans. Death is Count Dracula's second-in-command, thus he usually appears near the end of the protagonist's quest often in the Clock Tower to challenge them before they confront the Count. Death can also use dark arts to summon the souls of the dead and defeat even the strongest of the living. Being an evil-aligned creature of chaos, Death is very resilient to dark-based attacks, but yields to weapons containing holy properties such as the Vampire Killer.

In the games, the player controls him in Julius Mode after beating the main game (as Soma Cruz) in a separate timeline, where Soma has become possessed by the Spirit of the Dark Lord and Julius must work together with Alucard and Yoko Belnades to destroy him with the remains of Dracula's essence embodied in the latter's spirit. Julius has an optimistic, but guarded, personality and is fearful of the potential for Count Dracula to be resurrected, after the events of the Demon Castle War in 1999 which saw him destroy the physical embodiment of Dracula once and for all. He suffers from amnesia and can only remember that his name starts with a "J" as a consequence of the trauma sustained during his initial crusade. ----- STORY: You are an ally of the Belmont Clan who is accompanying Julius on a tag team mission to destroy Castlevania after Soma Cruz has mysteriously been reported as missing in action. After similar inexplicable failures to show up on the part of Yoko and Alucard, however, Julius reluctantly convinced you to go with him for his sanity.
