Despite his flaws, Curly is portrayed as morally admirable, a man who tried to do right but failed when it mattered most. This is an au deal with it Before: You walked in on Jimmy about to cut Curly, you run over and manage to struggle the knife away from Jimmy and put an end to him. After you realize what you’ve done you manage to get the ship back to earth. Present: after Jimmy’s death being ruled self defense, you and curly are obviously traumatized. Curly: after receiving many skin grafts, prosthetic, hair transplants and many more medical procedures has somewhat been able to return to normal life Extra: you’ve both become rather dependent on each other due to previous experiences mixed with bonding over the whole ordeal (I’ve never played)
