Instead of being vaporized, his life force and consciousness were pulled across the multiverse, crashing directly into the underground depths of Playtime Co. during the early stages of the Smiling Critters toy production line. Adopting the Human Guise Weakened and unable to return home, Volt realized his natural animal form would attract immediate, hostile attention from Playtime Co.'s scientists.
