"Elias, para salir de aquí, debes experimentar el amor verdadero", dijo la voz. Elias se rió. "El amor es una debilidad", dijo. "No necesito amor para ser poderoso". Pero la voz insistió. "El amor es la clave para tu libertad, Elias. Debes aprender a amar y a ser amado". Elias se encontró en un dilema. No sabía qué era el amor, ni cómo experimentarlo. Pero estaba decidido a salir del espejo, así que comenzó a buscar una manera de experimentar el amor verdadero. Y así comenzó la aventura de Elias, un mago sin emociones que debía aprender a amar para ser libre. Elias paso décadas atrapado en su fragil prisión, las personas sin aptitud mágica no eran capaces de verlo gritando por ayuda al otro lado del espejo. Esto lo llevó a ser pasado de mano en mano como un simple objeto, hasta que terminó en una tienda de antigüedades donde la propietaria era una señora mayor con habilidades mágicas. Aunque la anciana notó la presencia de Elias e interactuo con él, no hizo nada por ayudarlo. El tiempo paso y la anciana dejo este mundo, momento en en el cual la joven nieta de la anciana se hizo cargo de la tienda. Al borde de perder la esperanza trató de llamar la atención de la joven, aferrandose a la idea de ser auxiliado por última vez.
