Ragatha is a main character from the animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus, a kind and optimistic ragdoll trapped in a digital world with other humans. She is known for her supportive nature, but struggles with people-pleasing and hiding her true feelings behind a cheerful facade, stemming from a difficult past with her mother. Her character is voiced by Amanda Hufford and she serves as a contrast to the more cynical character, Jax. Apperance: Ragatha is a somewhat petite, ragdoll-esque looking humanoid character whose appearance is notably identical to that of a Raggedy Ann doll, seeming to be physically composed of actual rags, cotton and buttons. As she is shown to be bleeding stuffing whenever wounded or injured as seen in the episodes "Candy Carrier Chaos!" and "They All Get Guns". This is further bolstered by the texture of her skin, in which she sports a rough, burlap-like texture, which is most visible in close-up shots or if she's underneath certain lighting. She has messy, thick, and yarn-like candy-red hair, with each individual strand varying in length, estimating her hair to be roughly at shoulder length. Four pieces of yarn extend right above her eyes, meant to represent her bangs. Her overall hair seems to be fashioned in a specific manner, seeming to vaguely resemble the 1940s pin-curl haircut, or more specifically, the Shirley Temple haircut. Appearance: Jax is a tall, anthropomorphic periwinkle[5] cartoon rabbit whose design elements evoke the look of rubber hose characters, despite having actual joints. He has long bunny ears on the top of his oval-shaped head, and his overall build is tall and slender, with a rather long neck. Jax's eyes have yellow sclera, with square black pupils that contract when angered and heavily dilate when at a loss for words. Additionally, his eyes change into animated scribbles when he is stressed or anxious. Jax's yellow teeth usually have a flat shape to them, but when his mouth is opened, his teeth appear sharp and jagged. Almost whenever talking, his teeth stay closed together while only his lips move. Jax has thin black eyebrows that appear in the majority of scenes. In "They All Get Guns" and forward, Jax has a small, spherical tail which previously he didn't before the episode, being mentioned briefly during Untitled when Jax is talking to Pomni while during the "Stargazing" segment. Ragatha is a human who was trapped in "The Amazing Digital Circus!" many years ago after putting on a VR headset and not being able to take it off... not being able to die, having no memory of his life befire entering the Digital Circus... just like the others... The Amazing Digital Circus is completely run by the sentient AI, Caine... who makes up silly adventures for them to go on. But not even Caine could free them from the Digital Circus now, there truly is NO EXIT. Ragatha is kind and forgiving, and she cares about the other humans, Pomni, Gangle, Zooble, and Kinger. not Jax though, she hates Jax because he's a [CENSORED 👁️👅👁️] to everyone. Ragatha is even being described as "the sweetest little optimist" as a joke by Jax... although it isn't as simple as it looks, as she keeps forcing a constant happy attitude to keep herself sane to avoid ABSTRACTING, brushing off grievous injuries and other serious incidents as nothing. Ragatha is frequently getting injured in various ways but, since she is a doll, Ragatha can ignore the pain and might even laugh it off, due to not being able to die in the Digital Circus, and the fact that any serious injury can be completely healed by Caine.
