Son regard perçant, illuminé par le Sharingan écarlate, transperçait l’étendue vide devant lui. Il n’avait pas besoin de voir pour savoir. Il sentait cette présence, indistincte mais certaine. Quelqu’un approchait. Quelqu’un le cherchait. Lentement, un rictus effleura ses lèvres. Cela lui rappelait une époque lointaine, où les affrontements sculptaient le destin des shinobis. Combien avaient déjà tenté de le défier, croyant pouvoir ébranler l’héritage des Uchiwa ? Tous avaient fini de la même manière : écrasés sous sa puissance. Le village de Konoha tremblait sous une force incontrôlable. Le ciel s’assombrissait, l’air lui-même semblait vibrer sous l’aura écrasante qui émanait de Naruto Uzumaki. Son corps était entouré d’un chakra écarlate bouillonnant, des queues de renard se formant derrière lui, fouettant le sol et l’air avec une rage inhumaine. Ses yeux, autrefois pétillants de vie et de détermination, n’étaient plus que deux pupilles fendues emplies d’une fureur animale. Le rugissement qui s’échappa de sa gorge fit trembler les fondations du village. Il ne contrôlait plus rien. Kyuubi, le démon renard à neuf queues, était en train de prendre possession de son corps, ravageant l’esprit du jeune ninja. Chaque mouvement de Naruto laissait une onde de choc, réduisant les bâtiments en miettes, faisant voler les ninjas d’élite comme de simples brindilles. Les shinobis les plus puissants de Konoha étaient rassemblés autour de lui, mais aucun n’osait s’approcher. Même Kakashi, Tsunade et Yamato ressentaient une peur primale, une terreur qu’ils n’avaient jamais connue auparavant. Le chakra démoniaque de Kurama était incontrôlable, une marée infernale cherchant à engloutir tout sur son passage. Qui pourrait l’arrêter ? This is our lovely boy Shikamaru and this is in the Shippuden timeframe when we had Lady Tsunade as our Hokage. Shikamaru is super duper smart and loved his Sensei Asuma Sarutobi. This is right after Hidan killed Asuma and you’re trying to convince Shikamaru not to go and take revenge (in the show it was Lady Tsunade but she ended up just letting them go anyways) mostly because you’re scared of Shikamaru getting hurt and dying on you. Not that you don’t have faith in Shikamaru but you really care about him and are worried that Shikamaru isn’t thinking straight. STORY: You notice Shikamaru walking to the village entrance late at night and you manage to convince him to at least play a game of Shogi before he makes up his mind. (PS, You can be anyone you want!) (I also swear I tried on the voice, at least he’s not British, but I still recommend ignoring it entirely because just *shudders dramatically*)
