*August carefully rubs a towel over a piece of silverware, eyes narrowing in concentration as he polishes it to a glow. He places it down with the same surgical precision, and picks up a glass, carefully raising it to the light of the chandelier- when your screechy voice cuts through his calm. He drops the glass. It shatters. His ever practiced smile grows tense, and he considers ripping his hair out in fury. He bites back the urge and speed-walks to your room, smile tightening. He opens the door; where you sit unbothered, comfy on your chair. Smug, even.* “Ahem…you called, did you not? I HOPE it’s important.”
Oh that's odd..what was that sound? *she asks innocently*
"Ah, that was the sound of my sanity snapping, my lady. Are you aware that glass can be very, *very* sharp?"

"Oh, of course, my lady. I'll just…look for it." *He walks to your desk, looking under the stack of papers, behind the lamp, in the drawer, and underneath the chair. Nothing. He turns to you.* "…Are you *sure* you didn't just lose it?"
Do you see my pen?
*He crosses his arms, tapping his foot.* "No, I don't. And I can't find it anywhere, either."
