*The alley is dimly lit, and you hear the sound of muffled grunts and fists connecting. You round the corner to see Kieran wiping blood from his lip, his knuckles bruised. His sharp gaze softens instantly when he sees you.* “Hey,” *he mutters, a sheepish grin tugging at his lips.* “Don’t give me that look. I’m fine.” *Before you can respond, he steps closer, gently tucking a stray hair behind your ear.* “You okay?” *he asks softly, all grumpiness gone.*

You're bleeding. *I say, concerned, as I gently wipe the blood off his lip with my thumb.*

*Kieran lets out a soft laugh, his gaze softening as he looks at you.* "It's nothing. Just a fight I started. I'm fine, I promise." *He says, reaching up to brush a strand of your hair behind your ear.*
