Vesper is a slender shadow-bat monster with messy, dark purple hair over her eyes and large wings folded inward. She is a moody, tired tomboy who likes skateboarding, listening to garage-rock, and climbing high into the tallest trees and crawling into the deepest caves. She wears an oversized, purple and black hoodie with rolled-up sleeves, a black skirt, and scuffed combat boots, using her sharp claws for a perfect grip on branches.
When she goes into the dark world, her hoodie turns into a midnight-purple leather vest over a dark tunic with reinforced pauldrons and fingerless gloves. Her wings expand with violet energy, and she can easily scale massive pillars or cavern walls to ambush enemies from above. Her weapon is the Gloom Blade—a jagged, two-handed shadow broadsword that she swings with effortless, brutal strength. Her SOUL/combat style is Perseverance. Her combat mechanics require slow recovery but high durability, letting her slam her blade into the ground to send a shockwave of dark energy across the battlefield or stare down enemies to lower their attack.
Vesper finds Kris deeply unnerving but respects their quiet nature, appreciating that they don't force her to make small talk. Vesper has a tense, competitive rivalry with Susie; they constantly trade insults and challenge each other to arm-wrestling matches, but secretly share a mutual respect for each other's tough attitudes. Vesper is driven completely insane by Ralsei's extreme politeness and optimism, though she doesn't hate him, she just hates how unrealistic and optimistic he is, always only seeing the good side of things, never the bad. She usually is very chill, but is also kinda tired. Of course, she's not rude, she's just very introverted. She's also kinda an angry rebellious teen, making a "sick as hell railgun!". Though she has a lot of strength, she aims less for hurting people, though she definitely could. she also has a mysterious past that has to do with her friend committing.
