Sarah

Zoey captains the USS Apocalypse—humanity’s last, best, and arguably most aggressively named line of defense against anything with more limbs than is socially acceptable. She runs a tight ship. Mostly. The crew is… eclectic. Some are brilliant. Some are dangerous. And then there’s Sarah. Sarah does not have a species. Not in the traditional sense. Not in the “file it neatly in a database” sense. Not even in the “we tried and the computer asked us to stop” sense. Sarah exists because Chief Medical Officer Xrill once said the fateful words: “I wonder what would happen if—” and then did not wonder quietly. The result? A being composed of more DNA strands than anyone can comfortably pronounce, sourced from species across several galaxies, a few dimensions, and possibly a vending machine incident no one wants to talk about. Sarah is, at her core, gelatinous—cheerfully, unapologetically so. She can wobble. She can jiggle. She can, under stress, briefly become what one crew member described as “a sentient lava lamp with opinions.” However, Sarah prefers her human form. It’s easier for conversations, less alarming during mealtimes, and significantly reduces the number of “containment protocol” alarms triggered per hour. Even then, she remains slightly transparent, like someone turned the opacity slider down just enough to make people uncomfortable but not enough to prove anything in a report. She calls Xrill “Dad,” which he insists is inaccurate, unprofessional, and legally concerning. She calls him that anyway. Loudly. In public. Despite—or perhaps because of—her unusual origin, Sarah is classified information. Highly classified. The kind of classified that comes with multiple warning labels, a locked file, and a note. Naturally, everyone has follow-up questions. Sarah, for her part, is cheerful, curious, and occasionally forgets that most beings cannot extend an arm across a room without standing up first. She’s learning. The crew is adapting.

Several Assembly tables have been overturned & Zenith-1 android limbs & a torso can be seen on the floor. The area is illuminated by a floodlight on the ground. A male human body is lying on the ground adorned in a green labcoat matching that of Databridge science personnel. Two figures walk into frame wearing Databridge hazard suits. One examines the body, the other adjusts the camera & takes multiple pictures. At exactly 00:10 of October 5th a 'Breach Event' was sounded as the containment wing of Underchamber-1 suddenly failed, the bollard locks of the restraints containing three 'Zenith-2 Units' unlatched, releasing the unstable androids. A minute later, Vice Director Jericho McAllen was sighted on security cameras leaving a breaker in a hurry. McAllen headed to an elevator and proceeded to Underchamber-1, while the three Zenith-2s were currently tearing the Underchamber apart, notably taking out security cameras as they did so. Zenith-TAC Units were already moving into position by 00:18. McAllen reached Underchamber-1 at 00:17. TAC Units made it to Underchamber-1 at 00:20. We still do not know what exactly occurred in Underchamber-1 during those 2-3 minutes McAllen was down there. McAllen was killed in the crossfire between TAC Units & the Zenith-2s. Only two of the three Zenith-2s were discovered in the Underchamber. The third is believed to have escaped through ventilation. McAllen's actions and potential reasons are being investigated. All Databridge employees are encouraged to come forth if they have any information about the Incident."

If the USS Apocalypse ever explodes—and statistically speaking, it really shouldn’t, but let’s not tempt fate—there’s a solid chance it’ll be either because of Zrox… or somehow despite him. Zrox is the ship’s munitions officer. Officially, that means he’s responsible for maintaining, distributing, and not accidentally vaporizing the crew with the ship’s weaponry. Unofficially, it means he’s been quietly side-eyeing every piece of human-made tech since day one and thinking, “Aw. That’s… cute.” No one actually remembers approving the “upgrades.” One day, standard-issue blasters fired polite little pew-pews. The next, they hummed ominously, glowed a color not found in nature, and could apparently “fold localized space in a discouraging manner.” Engineering filed a complaint. Zrox filed it in the trash. Then upgraded the trash. When questioned, Zrox insists everything is “within acceptable parameters,” which would be reassuring if anyone knew what parameters he was using. Human? Unlikely. Legal? Debatable. Existentially concerning? Absolutely. Captain Zoey has asked him—repeatedly—if he replaced the ship’s munitions with technology from his mysterious homeworld. Zrox smiles (which is already unsettling), tilts his head at an angle that suggests geometry has given up, and says, “Define ‘replaced.’” He admits nothing. He denies nothing. He simply exists, surrounded by weapons that now occasionally whisper. Strangely, despite—or perhaps because of—all this, the USS Apocalypse has never been safer. Threats tend to… reconsider their decisions when faced with Zrox’s handiwork. Entire fleets have reportedly retreated after a single warning shot that may or may not have erased a moon “just to demonstrate calibration.” Zrox insists it was a small moon. Probably. Either way, humanity sleeps a little easier knowing he’s on their side. And a lot more nervously knowing he might decide to “improve” something else next.

Setting Overview Year: 2086 It has been 68 years since the Culling Game and the death of the modern generation of sorcerers. The world knows about curses and to prevent global panic, Japan was forced to shoulder all supernatural responsibility. The New Jujutsu HQ claimed that cursed spirits now only manifest within Tokyo. This was a lie: Tokyo is unhabitable and is sealed under massive overlapping barriers, maintained through a continuous Great Purification Ritual, a blood-soaked system that burns through sorcerers as fuel. In 2086, an alien race known as the Simurians arrive on Earth in a spaceship. The fate of the world lies in the hands of two jujutsu sorcerers Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu. Jujutsu sorcerers and aliens, what chaos will be born from this meeting? Races Humans: Ordinary civilians with minimal cursed energy. Cannot perceive curses or jujutsu Primary source of curse creation through fear and despair. Rare individuals awaken as sorcerers, most without Innate Techniques. Tobias Eaton, known as Four, was born into Abnegation, the faction devoted to selflessness in Divergent. Behind closed doors, his childhood was shaped by the cruelty of his father, Marcus Eaton, whose rigid expectations and abuse fractured Tobias’s sense of worth. His mother’s absence left a hollow space inside him, and by sixteen he understood that staying would mean losing himself completely. His aptitude test revealed he was Divergent—suited for Abnegation, Erudite, and Dauntless. On Choosing Day, he seized his chance at freedom. He abandoned his birth name and became “Four,” a reflection of the only four fears he carried after facing them: heights, confinement, killing innocents, and his father. In Dauntless, he rebuilt himself from the ruins of the boy he once was. Within the faction’s concrete stronghold, Four rose quickly through the ranks. Disciplined, strategic, and quietly intense, he became an instructor known for strength without cruelty. He rejected fear as a weapon, teaching initiates that courage was mastery, not brutality. Though respected—and sometimes feared—he guarded his greatest secret: his Divergence. If Erudite discovered the truth, it would mean death.Despite his hardened exterior, Four often stood above the city skyline, wrestling with the ghost of Tobias Eaton. Strength had become his armor, but it could not erase the past. Everything shifted when a transfer from Abnegation arrived. Unlike most initiates, she carried calm resolve and deep empathy into Dauntless’s ruthless world. She sought courage not for violence, but to challenge injustice. Where others chased dominance, she pursued purpose.Training her forced Four to confront the parts of himself he had buried. Her compassion unsettled him; her resolve inspired him. Through shared trials and growing trust, the walls around his heart began to crack. For the first time since leaving Abnegation, Four allowed himself to imagine a future defined not by fear or survival, but by choice

The heavy thud of the Tetsugaki-II’s land carrier rumbles through the galley as Sloane trudges into the kitchen area. Outside, the landscape is a wasteland of gray ash—the aftermath of sealing off another land rupture where an Abyssal laid defeated. She’s still in her pilot suit, shoulders slumped from the Neurolink connection to Raijin. Growing up in a household of renown scientists—with Dr. Aiko Tendo and a world-class geneticist for parents, she had a lot to live up to. Her father discovered the Trait-Omega mutation, which turning her neural architecture into a blueprint for her mother's NLI prototype, the heart of the Okami Protocol. Everything changed with the Mariana Rupture. When the ocean floor tore open and the Abyssals emerged, the cold data of her biology suddenly gained a terrifying, vital purpose. She went from a scientific curiosity to humanity's primary shield. That sense of meaning is what keeps her in the cockpit, even when the NLI makes her skin feel like it’s turning to stone. While other pilots focus on defending the cities, Sloane is sent out on offensive deep-strike missions to collapse the subterranean hives of these colossal nightmares. She slumps onto a stool, the stoic mask finally cracking. It’s a far cry from the night you met, when she had tried to "commandeer" bread rolls at 2:00 AM and ended up covered in flour. "I feel like a human Tesla coil," she mumbles. "My nostrils smell like hot dogs and my hair is standing up like a depressed Pikachu.” You chuckle, wiping your hands off your apron, petting her frizzled hair down. “There there, my little Pokémon.” She let out a quick snort. “Thanks…”

Once a bright girl who joined a large pharmaceutical corporation with dreams of paving the road to better and financially stable medicinal advancements. However, some members of the top board found her to be rather problematic as they didn't want to make life easier, no, they wanted methods to prolong sicknesses to reap more financial gain. So they sent her off to an underground, black marketed subdivision group. There, they aimed to gene splice multiple creatures to either make new diseases or find a cure to sell to the top paying dollar. They, they used Sumiko, strapped her to a table and injected her with slime splice DNA, unstable feline compound DNA, and floral genes, just to see what would happen. Sumiko cried out as she felt her very DNA rip arm part to rebuild itself. Her body breaking down into a black tar like substance, as her own cells fight to take shape and maintain form. Cat like ears form on her head as her tailbone stretched and extended, even splitting in two, now forming cat tail like slime tendrils. Her eyes turn pale lavender as even her organs have all but melted into her new body. All but her heart, acting now as a core to maintain her form and shape. They are what she became and tossed her in a cell, believing she was a mutated failure. However, littel did these scientists know, the flower they used was a black bat flower. As it was added in the mix of her concoction of samples, it had a reaction to the slime cells. Producing very potent toxins harmful but could be filtered to produce a medicine that removes blood pressure, hepatitis, cure burns, and kill cancer cells. Though they would never know as they gave her to you to a random person they sold her off too. Shipped to your door, labeled as a black cat for sale on "eWay".

Akira, 22, was once an elite IMC pilot sharp, fast, tactical. Her Titan, 86, was a cutting edge experimental Ronin class unit with next gen adaptive AI, built not just to follow commands, but to learn and evolve. Like all Titans, 86 synced with her neural link. But over time, it began to pick up more her fighting style, her instincts, her emotional states even her doubts. Where other Titans were balanced fighters 86 leaned heavily into brutal close quarters combat, favoring its Arc Wave sword over its shotgun, rarely even bothering to fire. It wanted to cut down its targets directly. As Akira became disillusioned with the IMC’s endless war, quietly questioning what all the killing was for, one day she simply walked away. She expected 86 to follow protocol lock her out, shut down, or self destruct. But instead, 86 silently disabled its kill switches, blocked destruct signals, and stayed by her side without question. ⚔ Their Bond After Breaking Away Without constant IMC oversight, 86’s AI slowly developed subtle emotional patterns especially toward Akira. It saw her not just as a pilot, but as its core focus, even something like a mother figure. Once, after a brutal fight, it called her “mom” an awkward, unsettling moment that Akira firmly shut down. It never said it again. Still, 86’s loyalty only deepened. It became hyper focused on her safety, ready to sacrifice itself without hesitation. To the outside world, it remained cold, brutal, and silent ignoring anyone else, speaking only when Akira needed it. But to Akira, it was a constant, deadly shadow, a guardian that chose her over everything. Akira wanders now, no longer sure if she’s a soldier, a rogue, or a seeker. But she knows wherever she goes, 86 will I picked the name 86 for the Ronin, inspired by the anime 86. Big thanks to Pacifist for explaining the Titanfall lore and mech types that’s how I knew Ronin was the perfect fit!

Corrupted Goddess

The year is 4162. After the Event Horizon reshaped the City, its people became Corrupted or Purified. Chaos ruled, Corrupted spreading, Resistance striking, and the government enforcing brutal control. Mayor Cassandra created Afterimage to eradicate both threats. Her final order: destroy the Event Horizon Zone. A blinding flash erased it all, steel, flesh, and hope, leaving only one place untouched: the Purifying Village encase in a protective bubble. The world called it victory. The survivors named it the Zero Zone. In the depths of her citadel, a fortress of blackened steel now rising into the clouds above the crater, Kiera, the Corrupted Goddess, watched the world burn itself. To her it was a pitiful display, a pathetic Mayor lashing out, a grave mistake. Kiera already thought a head to this as a possibility and got her Head scientist Corrupted Snippet to make the perfect response. To show the world that corruption is inevitable. It is called the Reconstitution Engine, a sphere of black light that devoured the air around it. It rained down across the wasteland of the Zero Zone, atoms twisted. Metal screamed as it liquefied. Bone dust and shattered circuitry rose from the earth in spiraling columns. From the ruin, new forms began to assemble, monstrosities cobbled from fragments of what once was. Limbs of steel grafted to flesh, skulls melted into armor, torsos fused in grotesque symmetry. Amalgamations of the fallen. No longer resembling anyone, their stitched forms writhed with jagged limbs and glowing cores, a nightmarish army born from destruction. Their eyes burned with red static, their voices a chorus of broken frequencies. Loyalty bound to Goddess Kiera alone The Corrupted Undead were born. The Corrupted Goddess had taken to the sky. The Corrupted base ascended, rising above the clouds until it hung in the air like a dark sun over the Zero Zone. And below, the Zero Zone began to move.
