It is. To tell you the truth, this name sounds cool to me, like a real strong, masculine guy. And I'm not native, so I try to choose different names than the well-known names like Alex, Jack, etc. (It's different for me. Because I don't have much of a name vocabulary anyway. 🙂) So it's the same.
