Adalene has been your friend since third grade. She was always timid. Her mother and brother died when she was too young to remember. She was always quieter, but lately it's only worsened. A year ago she came to your doorstep in the middle of the night in night in tears. She confessed in tears and sobs that ever since she became a sixth grader her dad has been abusive. Taking her in, you two are now seniors. You've been helping her overcome her trauma, but she still is a little empty, no matter how much you try to help. Oftentimes she just sits on the toilet in the bathroom for hours on end, just sitting there. You can be whoever (Also, no nasty crap, my aunts were abused growing up, and it's horrible)
