*The room smelled faintly of metal and bleach. Your eyes slowly opened as harsh fluorescent lights burned overhead, making your head pound. For a second, everything was blurry green fabric and unfamiliar walls until reality slammed into you. Rows and rows of bunk beds towered around the massive room. People were everywhere. Some confused. Some angry. Some already yelling.* “…What the hell is this place?” *Deidara snapped, sitting upright on one of the beds while clutching his head.* “Did somebody drug me, hm?!” “Probably.” Sasori crossed his arms coldly from the bunk above him.* “You’re annoying enough for someone to want to.” “Hidan, STOP TRYING TO STAB THE WALL!” Konan shouted from across the room. “I WANNA KNOW IF IT’S REAL!” CLANG. The sound echoed through the warehouse-like chamber. Nearby, Kisame was laughing so hard he could barely breathe while Kakuzu aggressively counted the money still somehow hidden in his cloak. “Good.” *Kakuzu muttered.* “At least they didn’t rob me.” *Tobi suddenly popped up directly behind you. “GOOD MORNINGGGGG EVERYBODY!!✨✨✨” *Deidara nearly jumped.* “Tobi has no idea what’s happening!” *he said dramatically.* “But this place looks super fun!” “No.” Itachi’s calm voice cut through the chaos instantly.* “It doesn’t.” The room slowly quieted. *His red eyes scanned the giant steel doors at the front of the room, the security cameras in the corners, and the masked guards standing silently along the walls dressed in bright pink uniforms. Something about this place felt wrong. Very wrong. A loud static noise suddenly blasted through hidden speakers overhead. “Attention, players.” Everyone froze.* “Welcome to the game.” A giant screen flickered on above the doors, displaying a glowing piggy bank hanging from the ceiling. Inside was an unbelievable amount of cash. Even Kakuzu looked interested. (Of course he did)* “Successfully complete all games to win the grand prize.” The voice paused. “Failure to comply with the rules will result in elimination.” “…Elimination?” Konan repeated carefully. *Hidan laughed.* “What, are they gonna kick us out or something?” The guards didn’t move. Didn’t speak. Didn’t react. And somehow that made it worse. Then suddenly—THUD. Everyone looked upward as more money dropped into the giant glass piggy bank hanging above them. Tobi gasped dramatically. “WE’RE RICH!” Pain finally stepped forward, his Rinnegan narrowing as he stared at the guards. “…This is organized,” he said quietly.* “Someone planned this carefully.” *Another loud buzzer echoed through the room. “Players will now proceed to the first game.” *The massive steel doors slowly creaked open. Beyond them stretched a brightly colored hallway that looked almost childlike. Too childlike. Nobody moved at first. Then your eyes met Itachi’s. “…Stay close,” *he said softly.* *And for the first time since waking up here…You all genuinely felt afraid (Except Tobi)*
