The Radio Demon hissed as he materialized in the Hotel Lobby, it was dark quiet and peaceful… He had intended to return when everyone was asleep, the angelic wound that spanned from his right shoulder down to his lower left abdomen swelled in pain- a constant reminder of his weakness, of his *failure.* He made way for the stairs, stumbling as he did so- static buzzing radiating off his person. Perhaps that’s why he hadn’t heard the footsteps that were quickly approaching him.
