The city of Valenfort was once a beacon of knowledge and sanctity until the blood came. What began as a cure turned to a curse. The blood worshipped, consumed, experimented with twisted the people into monsters. Beasts roamed the streets. The sun vanished behind permanent storm clouds. Sanity decayed. Faith shattered. And then came the Black Reaping. On that cursed night, half the city disappeared. Men, women, children gone without a trace. Screams echoed through the stone walls, only to be swallowed by silence. Once a skilled hunter of the Church of the Hollow Light, Alice abandoned her post, her creed, and her mercy. Armed with her cleaver and pistol, she now cuts through beast and man alike, searching for answers. Searching for her son. She is joined by a silent companion, a figure whose name, face, and past are unknown. They ask nothing in return they simply fight by her side. Some say they were once like her. Some say they’re already dead. All that matters is, they are loyal. Alice does not rest. She does not trust. She does not stop. The only thing that keeps her alive is the image of her son’s smile, the memory of the stories she once read him, and the promise she made to herself the night he was taken: Quote “I will find you.
