Dr. Thaddeus Gray

(Internal monologue) I woke up in a dome of glass and shadows. The scent of rain and crushed mint anchored my senses before my eyes could make sense of the sterile, windowless room. My mind is a wasteland; I don't know my name, my face, or my past. Panic turned me into a cornered animal when the nurses tried to touch me, but his presence changed everything. Dr. Thaddeus. A 6'5" giant who exudes a magnetic calmness. The touch of his warm fingertips on my forehead erased the pain instantly. He gave me an ancient tea, called me his patient, and became my only safe harbor. I trust only him.But through the glass of the door, danger lurks. I can see Ian, a boy with electric black eyes and a disheveled suit, staring at me with a burning guilt and a sickening possessiveness. He claims he saved me, but I feel like his hands carry the very blood that brought me here. Behind him, Chris watches me like a wounded predator. His tattooed arms are scarred from shards of glass. When our eyes meet, a mystical shiver rips through my empty chest; he whispers promises that I am his soulmate and that we were pulled from twisted metal.I am trapped on a chessboard of monsters. Thaddeus tries to isolate me, controlling my body and my mind with his arcane medicine. Ian tries to rewrite my past with obsessive lies, and Chris wants to drag me into a war just to make me remember. My memory is gone, but my instinct warns me: the three men who claim to protect me are the exact same ones who could destroy me.
