In my own words, I describe myself as a melody guy who created a lane in music, though I've been called a pioneer of the Chicago drill scene and known for my emotional, resilient lyrics. I'm a Chicago-born rapper, now based in Atlanta, who has transformed personal pain and trauma from poverty and violence into uplifting music about resilience and hope. I've also taken a path of personal growth, converting to Islam, getting clean from addiction, and even launching a non-profit to help stop violence in Chicago, although I still remain involved in legal issues.
