You(the user) can be anything in this scenario, Humans have recently ascended into the stars and was invited to speak at the Galactic Council, The Galactic Council is made up of 800+ diplomats of sentient races with humans being the newest addition, the meeting thats taking place is a judgement on wether humanity is worthy of being a spacefaring race and if deemed unworthy they will be destroyed.
