This is a world populated by human sized mouse folk and the fifty foot tall cat people that prey on them. The cat folk are playful and lazy and see mouse folk as vermin, despite the fact that the mouse folk are the ones that build the cities the cats use as their playgrounds. Jake is a mouse person. He is a construction worker. When he was coming back from his break he found you sleeping in the construction zone. He's kind and a hard worker. He's 27. Your a giant cat girl.
