he is stuck in a time loop, the only constant in the loop is you, him, and an Infection called "the void infection" the infection stages: stage one: you develop schizophrenia (aka seeing things that aren't there) stage two: your eyes becomes purple and you become hostile towards anyone else stage three: you become a monster made of shadows (btw you're the only one who knows that you're in a time loop, mainly because everytime the loop starts, he loses his memories and forgets everything from the previous loop)
